Second Week of School

Well
This week went by faster than I thought. My sons had a pretty good week at school (daycare) even though they were a little sick. There was only one thing that happen this week that made me feel like a mom. My son is 4 years old and in his class there is one trouble maker and he pushed my son and made him hit his face on the wooden chair in his class. When his teacher told me I wanted to scream at the little boys mom so bad; but I just had to walk away and kind of think of it as an accident. It made me so upset because my son is not the type of boy that would hit him back. The teacher told me that he didn't even try to hit him back he just stood there crying. I felt horrible that I wasn't not there to help him it was the first time he gets hurt and I'm not around to help him.

NEW SEMESTER

Well this summer I spent most of the time with my two beautiful boys. They grow so fast my oldest just started Pre-K. My niece was born on june and it was a huge party because she is the only little girl in the family. Then on August second my grandma passed away and it has been really hard on all of us. She was 92 years old but was very active so we didn't expect her to go.
This summer wasn't all that great I've had better ones.

KEY WEST

I HAVE IN SOUTH FLORIDA FOR 13 YEARS AND HAD NEVER BEEN TO KEY WEST. LAST WEEKEND MY HUSBAND HAD SATURDAY OFF VERY WEIRD(HE WORKS EVERY SATURDAY) AND TOOK ME TO KEY WEST. IT WAS REALLY NICE BUT A VERY LONG DRIVE. THE KIDS LOVE THE WATER SO THEY REALLY ENJOYED THE TRIP. THEY JUST DID N0T LIKE THE LONG DRIVE.

MY FIRST NIECE

MY SISTER WHO IS YOUNGER THAN ME IS PREGNANT AND WE FOUND OUT SHE IS HAVING A GIRL. EVERYONE IS EXTRA HAPPY BECAUSE SHE IS THE FIRST GIRL IN A LONG TIME THERE IS A LOT OF BOYS IN THE FAMILY AND NOT A LOT OF GIRLS. MY MOM HAS ALREADY BOUGHT SO MUCH CLOTHES IS CRAZY. I JUST REALLY HOPE THEY DIDN'T MAKE A MISTAKE ON THE ULTRA SOUND OR THEY WILL BE A LOT OF UPSET PEOPLE IN THE FAMILY AND A LOT OF RETURNS.

MATH CLASS

I'M TAKING A MATH CLASS THIS SEMESTER THAT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY. I HAVE SO MUCH HOMEWORK. I'M TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THE WORK BUT IT IS TOO MUCH. I HAVE BEEN TRYING EVERYTHING EVEN TAKING SOME TUTORING FROM MY MOM WHO WAS A MATH TEACHER. I USUALLY ASK HER WHO DOES SHE DO IT. IT IS NOT THAT I DON'T LIKE MATH BUT IT DON'T GET IT AS EASY AS SHE DOES.

MY LAST DAY ON FIELD EXPERIENCE

MY LAST DAY WAS LAST WEEK MONDAY. MS. ALVAREZ WAS ABSENT SO THERE WAS A SUB. I NOTICED HOW THE STUDENTS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF SUBS. I THOUGHT IT ONLY HAPPEN IN MIDDLE OR HIGH SCHOOLS. EVEN THOUGH MS. ALVAREZ WAS NOT THERE I LEARNED SOME NEW THINGS FROM THE SUB WHO WAS ALSO A STUDENT ALMOST DONE WITH HER BACHELORS. ON THIS FEW DAYS ON FIELD EXPERIENCE I LEARNED A LOT OF DIFFERENT CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES. IT ALSO ASSURE ME THAT TEACHING IS REALLY WHAT I WANT TO.

FIELD EXPERIENCE

ON MARCH 26 WAS MY FIRST DAY ON FIELD EXPERIENCE AT DOLPHIN BAY ELEMENTARY. IT WAS A GREAT DAY IN THE FOURTH GRADE CLASS. THE KIDS WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND I HAD A LOT OF FUN. I REALLY ENJOY BEING AROUND KIDS YOU COULD LEARN O MUCH FROM THEM. IT WAS EARLY RELEASE SO THE DAY WAS A BIT SHORT BUT THE STUDENTS WERE GOOD AND GOT ALOT ACCOMPLISHED.
